Yes That's right, Warner Brothers has just announced a special upcoming release in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action movie. This August they will unleash Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Collector’s Edition Box Set featuring all four TMNT movies including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles in Time, and the recent CG-animated feature TMNT. The release will be available on both DVD and Blu-ray, marking the first time the original live action films have been available in high-definition.
The full specs are still TBA, but the official WB TMNT website has a look at the proposed box art including some sweet discs that look like pizzas. I’ve been waiting for years to get a special edition release of the first movie (hopefully with some decent extras i.e. Deleted scenes, Making of, Commentary) so I’m all over this. The First film is my all time Favorite movie, seriously, the only bad news is we have to wait until august - Yuck!
